Khan Ardon is a lodging and events complex located in Mitzpe Ramon’s Spice Route quarter. It is equipped to host both groups and individuals and offers a wide range of activities, workshops and an information center for trails and activities in the area. It also showcases local desert art, and the laid back atmosphere allows visitors to relax and enjoy the cool breeze and special ambiance of the Spice Route quarter and the town of Mitzpe Ramon.
The Khan draws inspiration from the desert backdrop, the traditional Bedouin lifestyle of its inhabitants and the ancient Spice Route, a Nabatean trade route where merchandise from Rome was taken by foot down to Mount Ardon in the heart of the spectacular Ramon Crater.
The Khan also hosts discussion evenings, lectures, films, workshops and meetings on various topics: travel, desert culture, Israel and the Middle East, astronomy, art, culture, and whatever else you want to talk about.
