Arnon and Yaeli Carmi, the entrepreneurs and former owners of Kyle - a home-style, vegan cafe which operated and flourished in Herzliya between 2012-2016 and closed in April 2016 following their decision to move to Mitzpe Ramon. In October 2016, they set up a cafe and health shop in the commercial center at the entrance to Mitzpe Ramon on the road to Eilat. The name Mauna comes from the ancient Indian language, Sanskrit, meaning inner silence, conscious silence. The concept of Mauna was influenced by Arnon and Yaeli's yoga journeys as practitioners and teachers, and from a personal investigation of Ayurvedic Yogic sativa diet. The Mauna - the clarity and silence - is the guiding line in the kitchen. Each dish and product sold is from fresh and natural ingredients, from only plants source and is designed to make your heart fill with joy, nourish the body, and leave you with an experience of clarity and lightness.
