Avdat is a World Heritage Site and part of the ancient Spice Incense Route and Desert Cities in the Negev. Avdat Station No. 62 on the Incense Route, which passed from the Arabian Peninsula to the port of Gaza and from there to the lands of the Roman Empire. Here you will find a glimpse into the past, of the Nabatean settlement, the caves used to live in and store food and materials, a villa from the Roman period, churches and more.
The Visitors Center has many illustrations and exhibits an archaeological display and the shop sells local crafts and products.
The tour can last from one hour to more according to the visitor's curiosity and time.
